Questions

Asked and answered.

What is Empowered Fathers?

A 12-week fatherhood training course from Kids Deserve Dads. One move per week, field assignments you can finish in minutes, and a scoreboard that counts your reps. You take a baseline the first week and retake it in Week 12. The numbers tell the story.

How much time does it take each week?

15 to 20 minutes a day. Day 1 is a short read and setup. Days 2 to 6 are live reps and a ten-second log. Day 7 closes the week in about ten minutes. It is built for a phone, a truck cab, and a tired man.

Do I need my kids with me to do it?

No. Most of the training happens in you, and it works between visits. The tools that involve your kids flex to the time you have, down to a five-minute phone call. Train now so the next visit counts.

What if I only see my kids every other weekend?

Then this was built with you in mind. Every week carries a distance version of the field work. Week 11 is dedicated to it: the weekend rhythm, the call protocol, and walking back in after time away.

Is this therapy?

No. This is skills training. You get mechanisms, drills, and your own numbers, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. If you need clinical help, get it. This course works alongside that. It does not replace it.

Will this satisfy a court or an agency requirement?

Read this part carefully before you pay. Empowered Fathers is not currently a court-mandated, state-approved, or licensed program in any jurisdiction. Approval is granted state by state, by application, and Kids Deserve Dads does not hold it yet.

You finish with a certificate of completion showing 15 documented instructional hours, and we will verify it for anyone who asks, free. What we will not do is promise you it counts. If a judge, a caseworker, or an attorney told you to take a class, ask them first whether they accept this one. If you need an approved program and we are not it, take the approved one. You can still run this alongside it.

What about refunds and scholarships?

Kids Deserve Dads is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and funds scholarship seats, so if money is the wall, ask. And if the course is not right for you, email info@kidsdeservedads.org and we will make it right. No games, no hostage certificates.
